Come meet Ralph L. Livingston, writing as R. Lauren — Civil War historical fiction author and UP summer resident. Ralph is the author of The Torrent and is currently working on a Civil War cavalryman biography. A former Florida state representative and distance runner, he and his wife Pixie spend their summers right here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Chat with the writer, hear the story behind the book, and pick up a copy — perfect time to get it autographed. Whether you're a reader, an aspiring writer, or just want to support local voices — come on out to Midway on H-13.

Join us for a full day of fun — games, food, a live band, and an auction starting at noon. Held at the Tri-County Volunteer Fire Department, just 0.4 miles north of Midway General Store on NF-13. Come early, stay late, and support the community right here in Wetmore.
